Edit: ON
Finally, managed to collect all the final footage I need for this very personal project, and in the process of editing it all through.
There have been a lot of developments within the last month or so which has shifted and shaped this project into the most personally driven piece of work I have ever done. I've been doubtful about this current project many times now and it's been difficult to keep it in mind while I've been really busy and poignant. However, it is something I need to do, and I will keep at it until it has been done properly. It's amazing how you set out to do one thing and end up with something totally unexpected. Also, I don't think anyone actually reads my blog but I really want to thank Matt Tromans & Ravi Deepres for all of their help and understanding.
(I'll eventually upload the film but I have a feeling it will take a while for me to gain that confidence!)

Recent Uni Project
Currently working on a university project! A film which depicts and highlights the issue of how women can be treated differently to men, in more traditional asian cultures and families. Not planning on making it as serious as it sounds, but going into depth has certainly been most interesting! Here are a few stills from a test shoot!

Busy Busy!
Just working on a wedding video for my cousin (a sort of spur of the moment project which I think could possibly come in handy) It's hard work and very difficult making it into something which I would feel comfortably with myself...but I think I've pulled it off! It looks and sounds very idyllic! I hope the couple like it!
And I've worked on making a book for my cousins 1st Birthday with my photographs. This was pretty easy as I used 'Blurb' which makes life so much simpler (and the prices aren't so bad!) I recommend having a look and making your own picture books too! It's quite fun!
(Also hear from Raindance about the competition this week, I looked at the other entries... and don't think I have much chance of winning!)

Busy! Busy!
Still busy working on the current big project. It is vital I finish it soon! VERY difficult as I am having to take on a lot more than I thought I would have! But onwards and upwards!
I have also recently returned from a short trip to Ireland with my sister. It was just what I needed and I had shot some stuff there as I received information about a competition held by Raindance: http://raindance.tv/extraordinary
I submitted it already, so fingers crossed! :)

Some More Recent Works
A selection of some of my favourite pieces. Most of them are from University projects of which I got to experiment with on a broad scale. These include darkroom prints, documentary photography and many other random images!

Final A Level Project
This Porcupine fish sculpture was part of an animal project, of which I was asked to produce a sculpture using cardboard and paper mache. It took many months to complete and was around 2 metres in diameter!
